A heart-warming romantic comedy, 'My Talking Dic' (Thai slang for a
computerised translation device) will coax a smile from anyone that's been
in a mixed-cultured relationship…and anyone that hasn't.
The story: Young mixed-cultured couple - Thai guy (Tom) and his American
girlfriend (Jenny), live out their turbulently loving relationship in
modern-day Bangkok. A futile argument one night threatens to destroy their
relationship until fate steps in to 'help their communication problems'...
with extreme results
Based on the experiences of its Thai and English co-directors, a real-life
couple, 'My Talking Dic' was shot in the Bangkok community which influenced
their script.
Filmed on Super 16mm, in Thai and English language, the film
has gained great support and sponsorship from the Thai film industry, as
well as the local community it was shot in.
